For first-timers in Lebanon

• Ensure your passport remains valid up to six months prior to your travel date.

• SIM cards are available at the airport with internet bundles, or you can get an eSIM through Airalo or Simly.

• The exchange rate varies constantly, please make sure you check it before you travel.

• Cash is king in Lebanon. And we use USD almost everywhere. Cards are accepted in most hotels and restaurants, but don’t rely on them everywhere, having cash on hand will make life easier.

• For those who wish, car rentals are available at the airport from different agencies.

• Please make sure not to drink tap water as it is not filtered.

• Late May is usually warm and sunny, but evenings can be breezy. Bring a light jacket, especially in the mountains.
